A simple, tough push button for your automatic gate. Fit the TC148 by the front door, inside the garage or on the gate post, and one press opens or closes the gate – handy for walking out, letting visitors in, or for anyone who does not carry a remote.
The sealed weatherproof housing is made for outdoor walls, and the button needs no power supply: it just connects to the push-button terminals on your gate opener's control board.
Key features
- One press to open or close – momentary, self-resetting button.
- Outdoor-rated – waterproof and dustproof housing, UV-resistant and flame-retardant.
- No power needed – a simple dry-contact switch.
- Two-wire connection – connect to COM and NO, no programming required.
- Surface mounted – fits on any clean, flat, solid wall or post.
- Heavy-duty contacts – rated up to 20 A, 250 V AC.
Compatibility
- All TOPENS gate openers.
- Most swing and sliding gate openers whose control board accepts a "normally open dry contact" push-button signal.
- Can also be used with door access control systems and doorbell systems.
Quick check: bridge the push-button terminals on your control board with a short wire. If the gate moves, the TC148 will work with your opener.
Installation
- Fix the back box to a clean, flat, solid surface (screws not included).
- Run a 2-core 22 AWG cable (not included) from the control board's push-button terminals to the button.
- Connect the cable to the COM and NO terminals and refit the front cover.
