The TC175P wired keypad combines a backlit touch keypad and an RFID card reader in one slim unit. Open your gate with a PIN code, a key tag or a card – or require both for extra security. It stores up to 4,000 users, so it suits busy shared entrances as well as homes.

Because it is wired, it is a reliable choice where wireless signals suffer from interference or where the control box is a long way from the keypad.

Key features

  • Code, card or both – open by 3–6 digit PIN, by 125 kHz EM/ID card or tag, or by card plus PIN.
  • Up to 4,000 users, including temporary codes for visitors and deliveries.
  • Touch panel with LED backlight – easy to use in the dark.
  • Anti-tamper – a built-in buzzer sounds if someone tries to remove the keypad.
  • Lock-out protection – after 10 wrong codes or unknown cards, the keypad locks for 5 minutes.
  • Not just for gates – the relay output can also drive magnetic locks, electric strike locks and door access control systems, and it offers a Wiegand 26 output to work as an extra card reader.

Compatibility and wiring

  • Gate openers – works with all TOPENS gate openers and most swing or sliding gate openers whose control board accepts a "normally open dry contact" push-button signal. Connect the keypad's COM and NO terminals to the push-button terminals on the control board.
  • Power – 12–24 V DC, taken from the gate opener's auxiliary output or an external power supply.
  • Door access systems – please contact us before wiring to a lock or access system, so we can help with the correct connection.

Quick check: bridge the push-button terminals on your control board with a short wire. If the gate moves, the TC175P will work with your opener.

Installing outdoors

The keypad itself is not waterproof. Outdoors it must be fitted inside a rain hood or weatherproof housing, as shown in the product photos.

No. The TC175P reads standard 125 kHz EM or ID cards and key tags, which are widely available.
