The TC188 gate keypad gives you keyless entry with up to 64 separate PIN codes – one for each family member, plus temporary codes for visitors, cleaners or delivery drivers. Install it wireless on its 9 V battery, or wired to the gate's control board where radio signals are unreliable.
A flip-up cover protects the backlit keypad from rain and sun, and it is rated IP55 for year-round outdoor use.

Wireless mode
The keypad runs on the included 9 V carbon battery and talks to the gate opener by radio, up to 10 metres away. It pairs directly with TOPENS gate openers. For other brands, fit a TOPENS ERM12 external receiver (sold separately) to the control board.
Wired mode
Connect the keypad's COM and NO terminals to the push-button terminals on the control board and power it with 9–30 V AC/DC from the board's auxiliary output or an external supply. This works with most swing and sliding gate openers that accept a "normally open dry contact" signal, without needing a receiver. In wired mode the keypad controls one gate opener.
Quick check: bridge the push-button terminals on your control board with a short wire. If the gate moves, the TC188 can be wired to it.

Yes. The TC188 supports temporary codes alongside your permanent ones, up to 64 in total.
Which mode should I use?
Wireless is quickest to install. Choose wired if the keypad is far from the control box or radio interference is a problem.
Can it open my front door lock?
No – the TC188 is designed for gate openers. For locks and door access systems, see the TC175P keypad.
