The TOPENS CASAR800 garage door opener is a complete DIY kit for automating your garage door. Its quiet 24V DC motor and strong chain drive deliver up to 800N of lifting force – enough for sectional and up-and-over garage doors up to 2.3 metres high. The kit includes two remote controls, rail, chain and all mounting hardware.

It plugs straight into a standard UK mains socket (220–240V AC) thanks to the built-in transformer, and the numeric display walks you through every setting step by step.

Which garage doors does it fit?

The CASAR800 works directly with:

• Sectional doors with a curved track
• One-piece (up-and-over) doors with a horizontal track

For one-piece doors without a track (jamb or pivot hardware) an additional bow arm is required. The door must be no more than 2.3 m high, and you need at least 30 mm of clearance above the highest point of the door's travel to mount the rail.

Frequently asked questions

Will the CASAR800 fit my garage door?

It fits sectional doors with a curved track and up-and-over doors with a horizontal track, up to 2.3 m high. Up-and-over doors without a track need an additional bow arm.

Can I install it myself?

Yes. The rail slots together with sleeve connectors, no welding is needed, and all mounting hardware and a step-by-step manual are included.

What happens in a power cut?

Pull the manual release rope to disconnect the opener and lift the door by hand.

Does it need a special power supply?

No. The transformer is built in, so it plugs into a standard 220–240V mains socket.

Is it safe for children and pets?

The opener reverses automatically if it detects an obstruction while closing. For extra protection, add the TC102 safety photocell.
